The Association of Christian Nurses and Doctors (AEMC) was established in Portugal in 1997 and has the VISION of being a community of health professionals and students that seeks to grow to the measure of the stature of Jesus Christ (Ephesians 4:13).

MISSION: The AEMC seeks to bring together, encourage and train health professionals and students to follow the example of Jesus Christ as agents of integral health, serving with Competence, Compassion, Respect and Integrity.

The Association has been affiliated since 2004 with the International Christian Medical & Dental Association (ICMDA), an organization that brings together national associations of Christian health professionals from more than 50 countries.
